mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;} </style> <![endif] Ở Hội CCB huyện Vụ Bản ( Nam Định) có Hội CCB xã Minh Tân luôn đi đầu trong công tác xây dựng Hội suốt 20 năm qua. Ban đầu, mới chỉ có 91 hội viên với 6 phân hội, nay phát triển lên 7 chi hội với tổng số 473 hội viên, trong đó có 9 đồng chí nằm trong BCH. Từ đó đến nay, Hội không ngừng lớn mạnh cả về chất lượng và số lượng. 

Để giữ vững và phát huy bản lĩnh chính trị và phẩm chất “Bộ đội Cụ Hồ”, hằng tháng, Hội thường xuyên tổ chức các buổi nói chuyện thời sự trong nước, quốc tế, trên cơ sở đó gây dựng lòng tin cho các cán bộ hội viên vào đường lối, chính sách của Đảng và Nhà nước. Bên cạnh đó, Hội còn tổ chức các buổi sinh hoạt tập trung, phổ biến quán triệt chỉ thị, nghị quyết của Đảng, pháp luật của Nhà nước; thường xuyên đưa bản tin nội bộ trên hệ thống phát thanh; tổ chức đọc và làm theo Báo CCB Việt Nam, thông tin CCB, Báo Nhân dân và các báo khác; qua đó tuyên truyền, vận động các hội viên thi đua thực hiện tốt cuộc vận động “Học tập và làm theo tấm gương đạo đức Hồ Chí Minh”.

Công tác xây dựng Hội lấy chất lượng làm tiêu chuẩn, phấn đấu xây dựng Hội trong sạch, vững mạnh. Để đạt được điều đó, Hội luôn coi trọng công tác bồi dưỡng cán bộ từ chi hội trưởng đến BCH, tổ chức họp rút kinh nghiệm thường xuyên, nhất là sau mỗi vụ việc, phong trào để biểu dương thành tích đã đạt được, nghiêm khắc kiểm điểm, phê bình những sai lầm thiếu sót, đồng thời đề ra mục tiêu phấn đấu tiếp theo. Nhờ vậy, hằng năm hầu hết các chi hội đều đạt xuất sắc, không có chi hội yếu kém.

Với việc phát huy vai trò của một tổ chức chính trị, các CCB của Hội luôn hăng hái, tham gia đóng góp ý kiến vào việc thực hiện nghị quyết của Đảng, HĐND, tham gia xây dựng nếp sống văn hóa, xóa bỏ những hủ tục lạc hậu, mê tín dị đoan, cùng các ban ngành giải quyết hàng chục vụ tranh chấp đất đai, tích cực phòng chống tội phạm, giáo dục và quản lý con em hội viên tránh xa tệ nạn ma túy, cờ bạc, mại dâm...

Trong công tác chăm lo đời sống gia đình hội viên, Hội quan tâm đến nhiều phong trào thiết thực, cụ thể như: Phong trào xóa đói giảm nghèo, làm giàu chính đáng, thu hút được đông đảo hội viên làm theo. Hằng năm, Hội kết hợp với HTXNN mở nhiều lớp truyền thông kỹ thuật, dạy trồng trọt, chăn nuôi, tổ chức nhiều đoàn đi tham quan mô hình của CCB sản xuất giỏi ở nhiều nơi, đứng lên vay vốn từ Ngân hàng CSXH huyện giúp hội viên phát triển kinh tế. Từ đó mức sống của hộ gia đình CCB nâng lên rõ rệt, tỷ lệ hộ nghèo giảm nhanh chóng, từ 6,7% năm 1990, xuống còn 2,4% năm 2008, 5/7 chi hội đã xóa được nghèo. Nhiều tấm gương CCB tiên tiến nổi lên như: CCB Nguyễn Đình Chiểu mở lớp dạy nghề móc hộp sợi xuất khẩu, thu hút hàng trăm lao động; CCB Phạm Minh Cơ dồn điền cấy lúa, thả cá, nuôi bò; CCB Phạm Xuân Nghiêm nuôi lợn hướng nạc, hằng năm cho thu nhập hàng chục triệu đồng... Nhiều năm nay mô hình trang trại của CCB xã Minh Tân mọc lên ngày một nhiều, trong số 15 trang trại có 13 trang trại quy mô lớn, nhiều cánh đồng 50 triệu đồng cho sản lượng cao...

Hai mươi năm qua, Hội cùng chính quyền địa phương xóa 25 nhà tạm, dột nát, tiếp nhận hàng chục hài cốt liệt sĩ từ chiến trường trở về quê hương. Đến nay, Hội càng phát triển và lớn mạnh, xứng đáng là một trong những lá cờ đầu của Hội CCB Vụ Bản ( Nam Định).
