Buổi họp mặt đã ôn lại truyền thống bộ đội Trường Sơn, nghe giới thiệu hồi ký của đồng chí Võ Bẩm (nguyên Tư lệnh Đoàn 559 đầu tiên) và hồi ký của đồng chí đại tá Nguyễn Danh (nguyên Chính uỷ Cục hậu cần Đoàn 559). Tiếp đó là tọa đàm, gặp gỡ giao lưu, liên hoan văn nghệ, trao vật kỷ niệm…
